Hi, My name is Bobbi and I’m fundraising for a 11 year old worrier named Mylie.

Mylie is 11 years old and she lives in Fort McMurray , Ab. But unfortunately she was diagnosed with a brain tumor (Medulloblastoma) in December of 2023 , This little child had to undergo 2 brain surgeries and if that wasn’t enough they sent her and her mother to Florida to have Proton radiation for 7 weeks , Can you imagine the stress on that little girl and her Family.

Once they returned in April , They started intense chemotherapy and now Mylie has 2 cycles left which will end roughly middle of March.

They make about 3-4 trips per month to Edmonton but unfortunately Mylie has such low immune system from her chemo that she has spent a lot of extra time in the hospital with RSV, ear infection and other things.

This little girl will be spending her New Years in the hospital.

They are so close to being finished!!

But if you think that’s hard ,This family’s Son Wesley was just 2 years old when he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor- (anaplastic astrocytoma). Can you imagine the stress on this family for not having 1 child to care for whom had cancer but to have to do it all again for their daughter.

For the people who know me I’m all about trying to help people in need and this story really hit me hard Because I can’t even imagine having 1 child go through this let alone 2 children. As a mom this is one of my worst fears so I thought I would take it upon myself to try and help them out the best I can.

The cost for all the Edmonton trips and overnights are weighing deeply on this family and with the help of this community and social media maybe we can lift a bit of weight off their shoulders.
