You may have heard of “Millie’s Bakery and Take-Out” in Yukon, PA by their great specials, outstanding fish fries, and delicious bakery items.

In 2017, Dana (the owner) underwent an emergency brain surgery for a cavernous malformation, and we had hoped that she would never have to do it again!

Unfortunately, after years of monitoring, on October 8th, 2024, Dana was admitted to UPMC Shadyside and then transferred to UPMC Presby where she will undergo another emergency craniotomy.

Dana and Amelia will have to take a break from their beloved patrons so that Dana can take the time she needs to recover. That way she can do what she loves the most, feeding all of you!

They are not the type of people to ask for help, and if you know Dana and Amelia or have ever been into their eatery, you know that they put love into everything that goes out of their door.
