Millie girl just turned 3 years old last month, and she is our best friend. She greets us every morning when we wake up by jumping on the bed and laying on our chest. Jeff’s favourite part of his day is that when he comes home from work, Millie runs from wherever she is to jump all over him and give him kisses.

Millie loves everyone she meets, and we haven’t met a single person who doesn’t love her as soon as they meet her.

Millie is sick. She started having trouble walking a couple days ago and it is very serious. She has since been to her vet, the ER and spent last night in the ICU. She is under general anesthesia at this very moment to help diagnose whatever is hurting her. Her vet bills have added up to over $10,000 in 2 days and we need help saving her.

Millie has been our light through the recent darkness of my mom’s passing. She spent so many of my moms final days curled up with her on the couch, giving my mom every ounce of love. Every time I miss my mom, she knows. Every time I cry, she climbs up on top of my chest and rests her head under my chin.
