Our gorgeous Millie has been suffering with what we thought were maybe some kind of fit/seizure as she was having episodes where she constantly was shaking, panting, not eating and unable to move properly and not being her usual beagle self with zoomies, bouncies and generally nuttiness that all Beagle mums and dads know all too well, until the episode was over. She‘d then sleep for a few hours. After a 2.5hr journey today we find out that Millie has a severely slipped disc high up in her neck which is pressing hard against her spinal cord, causing her severe pain. The neurologist doesn’t think that this will heal on its own with meds and she will need a risky operation. Our insurance has covered the fees for today but her operation will exceed our insurance limit and we need to find £2800 to cover the shortfall for the op and the hospital stay for 4 days unless decide to keep her for longer. Her op will be on Wednesday 14th August. Could anyone find it in their hearts to help us get our fur baby back?
