Hi, my name is Erin and I am helping with the fundraising for my friend James and Amanda’s dog, Millie.

Heres a message from James

This is immensely difficult to post because it’s a day I never saw coming, and sadly here I am.

Some of you know me personally, some of you know me as ‘Jimmy T’ from the radio. But one thing is for certain, no matter how well we know one another, you know how much my little dog, my Millie, means to me. A constant in my life since I was battling my own serious health issues. She kept me alive, strong. Gave me a purpose when all I felt like doing was giving up.

She’s quite literally my saviour, but now she needs saving.

Millie has developed a severe case of IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disorder) it’s a rapidly moving disease of the discs and spine. It attacks the nerves and can cause paralysis and eventually, death. She’s in a stage where she can be saved, but surgery costs are astronomical and the time frame is crucial. I’m currently out of work and my wife is on Maternity leave as we just welcomed our baby girl into the world 2 months ago.

This couldn’t have happened at a worse time for us financially.

We need to raise $13,000 in 7 days to get her into surgery in Guelph at the University Medical Centre. Anything helps, literally anything. Sharing this will also help us a great deal.
