Hello everyone! I'm Jenny, and I'd like to tell you about our beloved Millie. She is a 5-month-old Basenji Greyhound mix who has a permanent place in our hearts. A few weeks after bringing Millie home, she started behaving strangely. She was disoriented and unresponsive, and she circled the house in an obsessive manner. After numerous vet visits, we received the shocking diagnosis: Millie was suffering from a very rare portosystemic liver shunt, and because this is a congenital illness, she could not be insured.

Millie needs a lifesaving operation, but due to her size, she can't have it yet. We have already paid an unexpected amount for vet fees and medication.
