Dear Friends & Family,
Our dear Millie is facing an intense and difficult journey hopefully beginning in March, for 5-7 weeks as she undergoes essential treatment for her health. She will be receiving daily radiation Monday through Friday and chemotherapy once a week. During this time, her son James will be traveling to Edmonton to be by her side, providing her with much-needed emotional and physical support.
As many of you know, having loved ones close during treatment can make all the difference. However, James will need to take time off work without pay in order to be there for his mom. The financial strain of this, along with the travel and daily living expenses in Edmonton, will be overwhelming for them both.
We are reaching out to ask for your help in easing this burden. Your generous contributions will go toward covering the bills and expenses James will face while he's in Edmonton caring for Millie. Specifically, funds will help with:
- Bills and living expenses while James is off work
- Travel and accommodation costs as they temporarily leave Yellowknife for treatment
- Other unforeseen expenses during this challenging time
