Millie & Her Mama’s Mother’s Day Mission!

This weekend is really special because it’s my first Mother’s Day, which couldn’t make my heart any happier! Millie is the best thing that has ever happened to us, and although she was our first (human) peanut, I’ve always believed dog moms deserve to celebrate Mothers Day too!

So this year, now that I’m both a mama and a dog mom, I wanted to do something a little different for Mother’s Day! Mother’s Day happens to land in the same month as National Pet Month. After fostering, volunteering, working as an Events Manager for a rescue, advocating on this platform and so much more, I know how many animals dream of being someone’s pet- they dream of a full belly, warm bed and so much love. No animal deserves to live in a concrete cell, chained to a pole, or on the streets…

With that being said, for Mother’s Day this year, I would LOVE to raise money for a few of our favorite rescues and shelters. Whether it’s to provide toys, treats, beds, food, or a large donation for them to use it how they need it, nothing would make me happier as a mama and dog mom.

If you’re even able to donate as little as a $1, everything makes a difference!

I know my goal may seem far fetched (no pun intended) but I’d love to split it between a few of our favorite organizations- can we do it?! I plan to collect donations until the end of the month, so please feel free to share until then
