I’m really excited as I’ve signed up for a big challenge next summer: a three week expedition in Costa Rica!

The first biggest part of the challenge is self fundraising to cover the majority of the cost of the trip. I’ve already raised about £1000 pounds towards the trip by working in a local resturant and babysitting, and i’ll continue working but I need to find other ways to raise funds as well.

With this in mind I’ve decided to do a sponsored walk - the Chilterns three peaks challenge! It’s an 18.5 mile route, a 7-9 hour walk including going up three of the highest peaks in the local area.

The expedition is going to be a life changing journey where i will get the opportunity to work alongside local communities volunteering on projects. This trip provides the perfect environment to develop leadership skills, teamwork and resilience.
