Millar Family's Gluten Detection Dog

Hello, we are the Millar family and our almost 6 year old daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease a year and a half ago. This disease is hereditary and there's a good chance both our boys could also develop it as they get older.

This disease means that Evelyn's body attacks itself when she ingests gluten and the only cure for the disease is to eat a strictly gluten free diet and she will not outgrow this disease. This also means we need to avoid sneaky gluten that is in most skincare products, some to-go utensils, and more.

Understandably this disease has affected our lives in a big way, but we are determined not to be held back by it. We are raising support to purchase and train a dog to sense gluten in the hope that we can have more freedom to live our lives.

Gluten detection dogs are relatively new support dogs, but they are amazing. Dogs can sense gluten down to 1 part per million! The money we raise using this gofundme will be used to purchase a puppy and the training course through Nosey Dog Detection Services. This training program has a high success rate and is done by us in our home.
