My name is Shay and I've had the pleasure of taking care of 4 ferrets in my life so far. Unfortunately my youngest, Milkyway, is suffering from some unknown issues and the last resort is exploratory surgery. We have exhausted other options with no improvement.

Exotic small animal surgery is extremely expensive, but Milkyway is less than a year old, so I would like to try to give him the best possible chance to have a nice long life.

This year has been rough financially for me, and we've already spent a few thousand trying to get Milkyway back to his old happy self.
