Miliya, Our Brave Fighter
Fundraiser for Miliya, 15, and Her Journey Through Leukemia
Our beloved Miliya was recently given the shocking diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) – a type of blood cancer that has turned our entire world upside down in just a matter of days.
Since July 2nd, we’ve been admitted to the pediatric oncology ward in Lund, where she is now undergoing a long and difficult treatment that will last for at least two years. Our world has come to a halt, but her fight has only just begun.
Why we’re starting this fundraiser:
Many have asked, “What can we do to help?”
And the answer is – we need all the support we can get, both emotionally, through sharing, and in practical ways.
We want to create small moments of joy in Miliya’s daily life through little experiences.
We want to give her siblings a sense of safety and precious time together as a family.
Miliya would love to have a wig she has picked out herself, as she will lose her beautiful hair in the coming weeks.
We want to give her the chance to rest and recover – perhaps even take a trip together, if and when that becomes possible.
And we need help covering costs not supported by public healthcare – like travel, parking, food, practical assistance, and special dietary needs.
Every contribution matters.
This isn’t just a fundraiser – it’s a way to help carry her through this.
If you want to help, in any way – big or small – we are deeply grateful.
Please consider sharing this event so more people can see it.
Or leave a message of support – we read every single one.
Together, we are stronger.
We know the road ahead is long, but we also know that Miliya is a true fighter – and we are so thankful that you are here with us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
