Military Children’s Charity, Inc. (MCC) proudly leads the way in honoring and enriching the lives of America’s military children, those who serve silently alongside their families and those who have lost a parent in service. Founded on the principle that these young patriots deserve not only our appreciation, but also, meaningful life opportunities. MCC delivers both joy and empowerment through its unique, mission-driven programs.
With unwavering commitment, we provide heartfelt gifts, such as holiday toys, school supplies, baby essentials, backpacks, and other items, to acknowledge the sacrifices military children make every day. These tokens of gratitude, made possible through generous donations, grants, and public support, lift spirits and alleviate the financial burdens of service families.
Beyond these expressions of appreciation, MCC champions academic enrichment by now leading innovative STEM education and literacy advancement programs, tailored to the unique needs of military-connected youth. Our goal is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and resilience, ensuring these children are equipped to dream, learn, and lead, no matter the challenges of deployment or loss. MCC fulfills our purpose when a child feels celebrated, a parent feels supported, and a future is fortified with hope, knowledge, and possibility.
MCC's Accomplishments
Following 15 years of tireless service by our All-Volunteer team to America’s Military Children, our non-profit took a pause in our regular Program Services during our 15th year. This past year, our team at Military Children’s Charity still worked tirelessly, however, focused on beginning a digital revolution to move all our operations and programs forward into the modern era.
Further, MCC has been now utilizing 16 years of lessons learned firsthand, whilst serving aboard the U.S. Military Bases, (across every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces), to create additional STEM and Literacy Programs that will serve America’s Military Children in the coming years. Lastly, to work to create improvements and maximum efficiency in all our plans and processes.
Across 16 years of operation, M.C.C. has now distributed new:
1,590 Easter Baskets
1,139 backpacks filled with 8,228 school supplies
47,102 toys/gifts
32,007 books
34,232 baby/children’s clothing items
1,837 baby shower items
13,136 dollar store toys
In total, nearly 140,000 gifts of appreciation have been distributed to U.S. Military and Bereaved Families – Mission Accomplished!
Further, beyond countless family day events and 8 Baby Showers hosted on behalf of the Department of Defense, MCC has also served to date over 3 dozen families who lost a loved one in service to our nation. From military funerals to high school graduations, MCC has repeatedly shown up for these bereaved families as a symbol to them that America cares about their sacrifice at freedom’s door.
Lastly, in an extraordinary effort, MCC assisted to rescue 17 individuals, including women and children, during the fall of Afghanistan from Kabul Airport and resettle them successfully into Orange County, California. Specifically, this was a VIP family to the United States government, and our team members dropped everything to answer this call, ensuring their safe and successful resettlement into our nation.
M.C.C. volunteers have shown up for our nation for the past 16 years out of patriotism and care for our U.S. Armed Forces. Military children across multiple branches of the U.S. Armed Forces were repeatedly reminded that American’s care about their sacrifices for their parent(s) to serve our nation.
