Military Veteran Monument

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to replace a panel on this Military Monument.

This beautiful Monument was done to replace a Monument in Summitville, Indiana. The monument honors the Service of men and women who graduated from Summitville and Madison Grant High Schools.

The original Monument was done by the American War Mothers. American War Mothers was organized Sept. 27, 1917, by mothers who volunteered to help the wounded, not just their sons, of World War I. It was chartered by Congress on Feb. 24, 1925, and now falls under the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The previous Monument had fallen into disrepair and needed updated. Unfortunately, when some names were added recently on the last panel, there were some mistakes made and to respectfully honor the Service of these veterans, that panel needs replaced. We are trying to raise money for any needed repairs and money for the Town of Summitville to hold for future additions to the monument.

The Veterans Support Council of Indiana Inc. is committed to serving Hoosier Veterans and any donation will help make an impact.

Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to many.
