Military Father & Toddler Need Help After Wildfire

Donation protected
Hi, I’m Chris, a proud active-duty military service member and single father raising my wonderful two-year-old son, Ezra. Yesterday, November 6th, the devastating Mountain Fire raced off the highway, destroying everything in its path. The wildfire devoured our residence, our belongings, and our memories—leaving us with nothing but each other and our resilience.

My service to this country has taught me how to stay strong through difficult times, but nothing could have prepared me for the moment I had to escape my home with only the clothes on my back. Everything we had is now gone. Ezra and I are starting over from scratch, and even though he doesn’t fully understand why we can’t go home anymore, his innocent smile gives me hope and reminds me why I must keep going.

We are in urgent need of support as we face this immense challenge. Please consider donating to our campaign and sharing our story. No matter how small, every contribution makes a difference.

We are hoping to raise $20,000 for immediate needs:
  • $5,000 for clothes, food, toddler needs and essentials.
  • $8,000 for temporary housing (rent, utilities, fees).
  • $4,000 for household goods (utensils, bedding, childproofing).
  • $3,000 to help us rebuild our lives and long-term stability.

Your support will give Ezra the comfort and safety every child deserves as we rebuild our lives from the ashes. Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this challenging time.
