Hi everyone,
As many of you know, Jacob’s mother, Morgan, passed away suddenly this week. Katie and Jacob left immediately for Kansas to be a help and support to Jacob’s father and brother during this difficult time. They will likely be in Kansas for 2 weeks or more. Many of you have expressed your love for them and grief over their loss as well as a desire to be available and helpful to them during this time. I think they would be really blessed if their community could help cover some of the unexpected costs of this sudden tragedy. They’ve had to take off work suddenly, cancel and pay for missed school classes, pay for gas and meals and other things to get to Kansas. Many of wish we could be with them in person to hug them or clean their house or cook meals for them but unfortunately we are having to love them from afar while they are in Kansas. Here is a simple and real way we can show our support for them while they grieve. Anything you could contribute would be appreciated. I’m certain Katie and Jacob are grateful for the many people in their lives who have expressed their love and care for them over the past few days! Thank you so much!
