My sweet girl Miley urgently needs dental surgery and an ultrasound. She’s still full of life, but I can’t cover the proposed vet bill. Every dollar helps her enter her golden years pain + ailment free.
I’ve had Miley as a companion since the beginning of my senior year of high school. She’s moved with us across the country and has been living her best California life—until recently.
Miley has dental disease that requires surgery to remove her bad teeth. During her recent check-up, her vets also discovered a concerning mass pressing on her bladder. They’ve recommended an ultrasound to understand the severity of the mass, alongside her scheduled dental work.
She is currently on pain medication so she can eat comfortably. Luckily, her energy and appetite are back—but the sooner we raise the necessary funds, the sooner she can be on the road to recovery and back to enjoying her favorite things: bird TV when not out on supervised patio time, and visits/ kisses through the window from her neighbor cat turned admirer.
Cost breakdown:
Dental surgery: ~$1,600
Ultrasound for mass: ~$1,200
Goal: $2,500
I’ve already exhausted my personal resources— maxing out credit cards, with no savings or cushion from family to rely on. I live paycheck to paycheck, without a car, and recently received a scholarship to begin my Pilates certification so I can pay forward the kindness I’m asking for now once I start teaching in the near future. I rarely ask for help, but this is one of those times I truly need my community.
Please help my girl regain vitality + health through her final years, as she seemingly has so much more to life to live. Any contribution means everything to us.
