One of our very own Elite NYC models, Mileshka Cortes, is from Puerto Rico and her family’s home has been completely devastated by Hurricane Maria. The southwest Corozal region of Puerto Rico, where Cortes hails from, has been hit by landslides in addition to strong winds and rain. Her family’s home is in need of major repair, with no electricity or running water. Her grandfather, who’s on dialysis, has not received treatment for a week due to zero transportation (in addition to lack of electricity). Her family needs all the help they can get right now.
