As a Colombian runner, it’s been my dream for years to cross the finish line of the Tokyo Marathon—one of the world’s greatest races. But this journey is about more than just one runner and one finish line.

I'm running to support Sports Legacy Foundation; a cause that uplifts others through sport—by training young athletes, improving access to proper facilities, supporting sporting events, and using athletics as a force to tackle social challenges. Every step I take in Tokyo will help create more opportunities for the next generation.

Como corredor colombiano, llevo años soñando con cruzar la meta del Maratón de Tokio—uno de los más grandes del mundo. Pero este viaje representa mucho más que una meta personal.

Corro para apoyar una causa que transforma vidas a través del deporte: entrenamiento de atletas, impulso a jóvenes talentos, mejora de instalaciones deportivas, apoyo a eventos deportivos y el uso del deporte como herramienta para enfrentar retos sociales. Cada paso que dé en Tokio será por más oportunidades para otros.

Cada kilómetro que corra en Tokio será un homenaje a todos los que creen en el deporte como camino de cambio, inclusión y superación. Tu aporte no solo me acerca a la línea de salida, también impulsa un mensaje de esperanza y oportunidad para muchos otros.
