Miles "Saves" the Wolves

Dear family and friends,

As many of you know, my 13th birthday is coming up and my family and I are in the process of planning my bar mitzvah. As part of this rite of passage, I must prepare a community service project. My sibling, Speed and I have always been fascinated by wolves. I love how they live and work together in a pack to achieve goals and survive. They are also very cool looking animals. A few years ago, for Speed’s birthday, we went to the Wolf Sanctuary of PA and it was magical. I was sad to learn that there were so many wolves that needed help. It was a great experience to see how wolves lived together and to learn how they survived. The work that the sanctuary does really impressed me. They take amazing care of the wolves and make sure that they have what they need to live. I have decided that my community service project will support the work that they do to save the wolves.

As many of you also may know, I play hockey. I am a goalie for the Snider Hockey 12 U AA team. We have had an amazing season! This past weekend we won the Delaware Valley Hockey League Championship qualifying us for District Championships. As part of my “Miles ‘Saves’ the Wolves” service project I will ask all of you to donate what you can for each puck I save during these playoff and championship games so that we can support the wolf sanctuary.
