Miles Reuben's New Short Film

*Budget additions have been made so that I may compensate crew/cast and afford adequate promotion*
Hello, I am Miles Reuben and I'm looking for some help with funding for my new short film "Snow City" presented by filmTOY Studios.
www.milesnreuben.com
Synopsis:
Snow City is a short, narrative film that explores the unbreakable connection between a journey of vengeance and a life of trauma. Set in the fictional land of Snow City, it will follow a lone swordswoman, Nyssa, on a path of vengeance to find her sister Neo and end her.
Things About The Film:
Snow City is a modern take on a samurai film, set to combine the visualization and style of classic samurai cinema with the environment of Detroit. The purpose of this visual combination is to provide a new take on the Samurai/Fantasy genre and create something that is impactful and different for Detroit Filmmaking.
The film will be brought to life by filmTOY Studios co-CEOs, Miles N. Reuben & Gary Jay, the creators of the critically acclaimed film "NILE: A Visual Embodiment of a Sonic Experience," and other young, Black Detroit talent in front of and behind the camera.
"NILE: A Visual Embodiment of a Sonic Experience," went on to win six film awards including Finalist for Best Poetic Cinema at the Lonely Wolf London Film Festival, an Official Selection at the Chicago Indie Film Awards, an Official Selection for Retrospective of Jupiter, Daily Short Pick for film indie blog, Film Shortage, and two honorable mentions from the London International Movie Film Festival and the Athens International Movie Film Festival.
Why should you donate?
The funds will be used to provide food and safety equipment for the actors and crew on set, as well as cover marketing and promotional materials for the film. By donating, you are actively supporting the creation of Black Art that is intended to bring a new, refreshing take on the images we as Detroiters see of ourselves and of our future.
filmTOY Studios is not just a production company set on creating films but set on creating defining moments and permanent positions in the film industry for underrepresented individuals, unapologetically. We create with the sense of furthering the inclusion of BIPOC individuals, Women, LGBTQ+, Detroit residents, and other underrepresented groups.
Any donation will land you a spot in the credits of the film under "Special Thanks," and any donation of $50 or more will land you an "Executive Producer" title. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated.
