In April 2026, I will be running the Ibiza Marathon alongside two friends from university, Rufus and Algie.

We will all be raising money for an amazing charity called the Chailey Heritage Foundation, which thrives in changing the lives of young people with complex disabilities, as well as supporting their families along the way.

This run is for my 10-year-old cousin, Rupert, who was born extremely premature at just 23 weeks old. He spent 142 days in the neonatal intensive care unit. Today, Rupert lives with quadriplegic cerebral palsy, dystonia, epilepsy, and severe visual impairment.

Thanks to Chailey, Rupert gets to enjoy things many thought were impossible, from horse riding to swimming.

Running the Ibiza Marathon will be tough, but nothing compared to the courage Rupert shows every single day. Any donation, no matter the size, would be greatly appreciated; it all makes a difference. Big thanks, and let’s run some miles for Rupert!
