Our Rosie Doll

On the 14th of April 2025, what should have been the happiest day of my life instead was a day filled with sadness, heartbreak and endless tears. I had been told while in full active labour that my baby no longer had a heart beat.

14.04.25 at 4.21pm I gave birth to the most perfect baby girl and a picture of perfection weighing 6lbs 1oz. There are no words that could describe the feeling that ran through my body. My heart felt pain that I never believed was possible. So much love surrounded our Rosie and how robbed we felt.

Myself and family have decided to take part in the marathon as a team and complete a relay. The team will consist of myself, Rosie’s Mummy, Rosie’s Auntie Aideen , Shelly , Kacey , Chloe who just adored and loved each and every cuddle with me and my baby Rosie.

After loosing my baby I have been privileged to have the support of two amazing charities staffed by volunteers and heavily depend on funding to continue their amazing work.

Remember My Baby

RMB is a charity of volunteers of professional photographers who provide you with priceless memories . Within a matter of 2 hours after having my baby I had Ivan out to take raw in the moment photos that where took as we spent time with Rosie. Ivan did this in the most gentle, caring and compassionate way. I have been given photos I will cherish forever.

The second Charity we will be fundraising for is

White Butterfly Foundation.

This charity provides psychological support for parents who have experienced the heartbreak of miscarriage, baby loss, or neonatal death. Founder Selina is an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and a mother who has walked this painful path and also had to deal with the heartbreaking loss of her baby. Selina is always on the other end of the phone no matter when or what time throughout Phone Call, Zoom or even just a little message.
