Miles for Miracles: Helping Cots for Tots

I am dedicating my first ever official race by running a half marathon to raise money for Cots for Tots who supported my cousin and his wife throughout the hardest months of their life, not just once but twice.

Leo was born in 2017 and diagnosed with heart failure a day into his life. He was rushed to ICU and had open heart surgery at 7 days old.
His sister Adley born October 2024 was immediately paralysed, sedated and intubated following a diagnosis of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia at week 17 of pregnancy.

Whilst both Leo and Adley underwent life saving surgery/care just days after their births then individually spending the first 7 weeks of their life in NICU the facilities provided by Cots for Tots will never be forgotten, allowing parents to stay close to their babies at such a critical time.

Thank you for taking the time to read and any donation will be greatly appreciated. This will also be a huge personal achievement for myself having only ran a 5km distance at the start of this year whilst being able to support a charity close to my families heart xx
