Miles for Meals - Benefiting Montgomery County, IN Schools

Hello, my name is Brian McDonough.

I am an ordinary guy trying to do something special for the community I live in, and I’d like you to be a part of it.

On Saturday, September 20th, 2025, at 4:30 am (rain or shine), I will be running 50 kilometers (31.1 miles) in Crawfordsville, IN, to benefit the free and reduced lunch meal program of all three Montgomery County, IN, School Corporations (North Montgomery, Crawfordsville, South Montgomery).

My stepdaughter, Lucia, is a rising 10th grader at North Montgomery High School.

Last year, and by the grace of God, I ran the same distance for the 1st time ever, for myself – it was a personal journey that started five years ago as I decided to become healthier in mind, body, and spirit.

This year, I felt called to do something for the families and children in my community, to make sure no child goes hungry, has access to a healthy meal, and to take a step forward in eliminating school meal debt.

When we come together, we can accomplish big things.
