Hi everyone, my name is Michelle Langlais. Jill (Miles Mama) and I have become close friends navigating through this amazing journey of motherhood. Several of the mothers in our community would like nothing more than to help out such a deserving mother and her family as they go through this challenging time with their 15-month-old son, Miles. 

Miles recently underwent emergency, life-saving brain surgery on Tuesday, July 31st. He has been diagnosed as having a cyst in his brain which is putting pressure on his ventricles, causing swelling and an excess of fluid. They were able to drain the cyst but are monitoring him heavily as complications continue to arise. Miles is being transferred to Boston Children’s Hospital, as their pediatric neurological team is best suited for his condition.

The road ahead will be long and unknown for the Esquivel family. Please help us in our efforts to raise money for our dear friends as they focus on supporting Miles during his recovery. These funds will help with any medical expenses not covered by insurance, future expenses incurred as Miles grows and continues to need care, as well as travel and housing expenses.
