This is a marketing fundraiser for our short film Mildred 4 a Million starring the legendary Marla Gibbs (of The Jeffersons & 227 fame.)
Marla celebrated her 93rd birthday 2 weeks before we rolled cameras and was an inspiration to us all! Your donations will go towards film festivals, publicity and securing distribution.
Mildred 4 a Million is a poignant comedy about a gregarious nonagenarian (Marla Gibbs) who desperately wants to connect with her great-granddaughter (Obriella Genesis Witron,) so she sets out to get a million followers on TikTok.
There are lots of laughs but at its core, the film is about connection across generations in an age where tech has us all distracted.
