The funeral is on the 12th of February at 11 o’clock at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-dat Saints 1164 N Newcomb St, Porterville CA. Followed by graveside and then celebration of life.

Mildred Layfield. For all that knew her, knew her as the hat lady always smiling dancing and singing. We were all fortunate enough to come together and celebrate her 111th birthday. We have been blessed sharing moments laughing and crying together.  Unfortunately  On January 30, 2020 we lost our beautiful angel.  Sadly today we found out she only has accidental insurance and her insurance isn’t going to help cover the funeral. So we’ve come to an agreement that we would ask anyone and everyone that knew this lovely lady to help all of us celebrate her one last time. We ask that you donate from your heart any amount will help and it will be greatly appreciated from the family.
