MIla's Nurse Fund

Mila’s life was put to the test the second she stepped into this world. Her intestine was punctured and needed emergency surgery just hours after being born. She came out of her first successful surgery thanks to her character, strength and amazing will throughout the process. She has come a very long way in these past weeks.

Today, Mila is home with us awaiting the date of her second surgery. In the meantime, we seek your support to help get a nurse that can better help with the intricate and intense care she needs.

We’ve had people close and not so close ask what they can do to help from afar (not having any family where we live); the only thing we can think of is to create this GoFundMe page. Any and all help will be appreciated, but most importantly thank you for having Mila in your thoughts and prayers.

La vida de Mila fue puesta a prueba desde el segundo en que puso un pie en este mundo. Su intestino se perforó y tuvieron que hacerle una cirugía de emergencia a horas de nacida para salvar su vida. A pesar de todos los pronósticos ha demostrado carácter, voluntad y una fuerza de admirarse en este proceso y su recuperación ha sido tremenda.

Hoy Mila está con nosotros en casa esperando fecha para su segunda cirugía. Mientras tanto necesitamos apoyo de una enfermera que nos apoye con el delicado cuidado de Mila.

Mucha gente nos ha preguntado cómo puede ayudar desde lejos, esta es una opción que se nos ocurre. Todo su apoyo es muy agradecido pero sobre todo gracias por tener a Mila en sus pensamientos y oraciones.
