Mila's Craniosynostosis Journey

Hi everyone! I am here on this platform calling in reinforcements with friends and family to support my granddaughter Emilia "Mila" with beginning her journey with Craniosynostosis. Mila is scheduled for surgery on July 28th in El Paso, TX. My Daughter Sadie and son inlaw Adrian will be in Texas with Mila for over two weeks, with return trips in their near future. Sadie is currently still on maternity leave from Mila's birth in May and Adrian will be on leave as a police officer to be with his family during her surgery. Adrian also serves in the United States Army which he is currently away on drill and will arrive back home, just in time to depart for TX to begin Mila's journey. Despite their pride and privacy; travel is expensive, bills don't cease and stress is debilitating. I would like for them to be able to focus solely on Mila during this time. With the help of all of our friends and family rallying together and forgoing a morning Starbucks or a night at the movies, we can help them tremendously during this bump in the road! Sadie loves to share her life with the kids and I am certain everyone will be invited to travel this road with them, updating you all with Mila's journey. Prayers for safe travels and guidance for the medical team in TX is greatly appreciated.
