Milan’s First Season of Elite Club Vball!

Hello Family, Friends, and Philanthropists,

Last summer, our oldest daughter, Milan (11), played on her first volleyball team with the Atlanta Extreme Volleyball Club out of Suwanee , GA. She played on the 11U summer AAU team and had the time of her life while making great strides in a short season (only one tournament). AAU was a minimal financial commitment (under $400), but Milan really wanted to continue pursuing one of her new found passions. Her ultimate goal is to eventually play Division I volleyball for UGA or Bama . Other than doing well in school, making an elite travel club team is step 1 to pursuing that goal.

This week, she attended tryouts for AEVC and was blessed to make the 12U National team! She’s obviously thrilled about this accomplishment as it will be her first full club experience, and she’ll get an opportunity to play with some of her old AAU teammates/friends!

So this brings us to the position we’re currently in, and why we decided to create a GoFundMe. The financial commitment to play club travel ball is 7 times the cost of her AAU experience, not including the price of travel/lodging. The target goal, if met, would cover her club dues and uniform fees. ANY amount given would be MUCH appreciated as it would help us avoid going into debt to support Milan’s volleyball ambitions. There is no hard deadline for this campaign, but a downpayment for dues are expected to be paid by November 1.
