On Friday, 02/15/19, retired Texas Department of Public Safety Captain Mark Milanovich received a call that his house was on fire. Mark and his wife Kitten returned home to find most of the house destroyed by fire. There was extensive smoke damage and Kitten lost her three dogs. They recovered most of Mark’s weapons, a few clothes, and secured a hotel room with the intentions of coming back to getting clothes and other salvageable items.
Early Saturday morning, the fire sparked up again and all of their belongings were destroyed. They lost clothes, retirement gifts, books, saddles, dishes, furniture… everything! Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire. Mark and Kitten are setting up a travel trailer on their property until they are able to rebuild.
A number of friends and colleagues have asked how they can assist. First and foremost, Mark has asked for prayer for his family. In addition, this GoFundMe will give friends and colleagues the opportunity to help this family get on their feet during this tragedy.
