She proudly accepted her place on the Canadian National Dance Team, and now this talented young dancer from Alberta will be wearing red and white to represent your Canada on the world stage.
The Dance World Cup is the second largest international competition after the Olympics, bringing together dancers from over 60 countries. It’s an extraordinary honor—and now, we’re inviting you to be part of this journey. Milanja is beyond proud to represent her home studio, Eye Candy Company (ECC), on this incredible journey. At ECC, she trains in a powerful fusion of hip hop and contemporary dance — where passion meets precision, and every move tells a story. Under the guidance of studio owner and visionary choreographer, Vince Akinyode, Milanja has learned that dance is more than movement — it’s a calling. Vince’s “passion meets purpose” philosophy has fueled her drive to push harder, dream bigger, and dance with everything she’s got.
And now, that spark has led her here — standing on the edge of something extraordinary: competing on an international stage with the Canadian National Dance Team. This is more than a performance — it’s a testament to countless hours, relentless heart, and the community that believed in her. Our family wishes to crowdfund half of the associated costs ($10,000) to help Milanja travel to Ireland and proudly represent Team Canada.
