Hi everyone, my name is Nicole and I’m the proud mom of my beautiful and amazing 7-year-old daughter, Milani.
On April 10th, our lives changed overnight when Milani was suddenly diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), a type of blood cancer. Since that day, we’ve entered a world of chemotherapy treatments, hospital stays, clinic visits, medications, bloodwork, and constant travel back and forth to appointments.
Milani’s treatment journey is expected to last approximately 2 to 2.5 years, with the first several months being the most intensive as doctors closely monitor how her body responds to chemotherapy through frequent hospital visits, treatments, and ongoing care.
At first, I tried my best to carry everything on my own without asking for help. It’s honestly not in my nature to ask. I’ve always worked hard, pushed through difficult times quietly, and done everything I could to provide for my daughter through my small business. But after recent results, Milani’s treatment plan changed to a more intensive route, making it increasingly difficult to balance work, finances, and being fully present for her during this critical time.
As a single mom and solo entrepreneur, I’ve had to step back from work to focus on caring for Milani throughout her treatment. Time away from work directly impacts our income, while everyday responsibilities and medical-related expenses continue to grow. Donations will help with treatment travel, transportation costs, household bills, meals, medical-related expenses, and day-to-day necessities so I can focus on caring for Milani and supporting her through her fight.
Anyone who knows Milani knows how loving, strong, bright, and full of life she is. Despite everything she’s facing, she continues to smile and show strength every single day. We are staying hopeful, trusting God, and taking this journey one day at a time.
As we navigate this journey, I’ll also be sharing updates, milestones, and moments of strength along the way so those supporting Milani can continue following her fight and cheering her on. ( ig: @milaniisabella)
As hard as this is for me to do, I’m learning to accept help during one of the hardest seasons of our lives. Every donation, prayer, and share helps lighten the burden on our family and allows me to focus on what matters most which is being fully present and by Milani’s side throughout her fight.
Thank you for supporting Milani and standing beside our family during this difficult journey. It means so much to us and we appreciate you more than you know.
