Help support Milan beat Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer

The past week and half have been an absolute whirlwind for my family. Saturday, Sept. 6th, Milan went to the ER after some blood work came back with abnormal liver enzyme levels. Over the course of the following week we learned our strong, iron working, God-fearing, Milan has colorectal cancer that has metastasized to his liver.

As of current (9/17) Milan has undergone multiple tests, scans, biopsies and a surgery. Information is still coming in, action plans are still being formed as his oncology team meets regularly.

Here is a brief overview and game plan of what we may expect going forward:

Coming into this, his bilirubin levels were extremely high due to the mass on his liver that was compressing his common bile duct. They placed a stint in his liver to help get things flowing again. This stint has resulted in pancreatitis *but* his bilirubin levels are decreasing (praise God!). Once they are low enough he will begin chemo. Following chemo he will have surgery to first remove the liver tumor and then the rectal tumor. They are starting with 3 rounds of aggressive chemotherapy. Again, things are ever evolving in this process.

Milan is not one to ask however, I would like to ask on his (and my mom Stephanie's) behalf to help support them financially during this time. There will be many costs involved in numbers we are not sure of yet.
