Mila needs urgent lifesaving surgery
Donation protected
Meet Mila (5), she is an adorable young pointer visla cross. We got her on our wedding day, rescued her from Spain (aged 1.5) where she had been abandoned on the streets as a puppy. She had every reason not to like humans but she is one of the most loving and giving dogs we have ever seen.
We taught her how to play as she had no idea, she had been denied that young pleasure, and we gave her a loving home. She is like a child to us. Mila has suddenly developed a growth in her upper mouth that is quite large and is presently causing her some breathing issues which are likely only to get worse. It has been caught early and appears not to have spread anywhere. We are waiting the results of the biopsy and she is being booked for a CT Scan which alone will be approximately £2,000 before they can even look at surgery. Either way for the standard vet it is inoperable and she needs a specialist to give her a chance at the life she truly deserves.
Sadly the cost of this is likely to be exorbitant and we are looking at every possible way we can help ensure that Mila gets the surgery she needs and a chance at the life she truly deserves.
I would stop at nothing to save this little angel, I feel it is my responsibility given the harsh treatment she received from others a puppy.
I'm not asking anyone to break the bank, but if you could see it in your heart to give even the tiniest amount and share my plea with everyone and anyone.
I have already failed her once, I meant to get insurance but life, the past few tumutulous years and various crisis I stupidly let it all distract me thinking she's a young fit pup and have left it too late.
So here I am begging anyone who reads this to help fund urgent medical treatment for Mila who against all odds is one of the most loving pups I have ever seen.
Should by some miracle the money raised exceed that which is needed I would be looking to donate it to charities that help rescue other dogs and those that help people who find themselves for whatever reason unable to fully meet urgent medical bills for their pet.
