We are raising money to help our aunt Mila and her family's mounting medical out of pocket bills after their insurance stopped covering the expenses.
Mila was diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma one year ago. She had a major brain surgery where they removed roughly 90% of the tumor, however, shortly thereafter it started to grow back.
The growing tumor caused her to have a stroke which left her paralyzed on the left side of her body.
She spent months in and out of two hospitals and a rehabilitation center. After the insurance stopped helping with the bills, our uncle had to hire a private nurse and 24 hour hospice care.
Mila is an incredibly generous, loving, positive, and kind woman who has always been the glue who held the family together. She continues to fight this incredibly difficult fight. The battle has left the family in a difficult financial situation and we are grateful for any donation.
