Mila and West

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the over whelming support for Mila and West. Your generosity and love gives all of us great comfort.

We have raised over $100,000.00, which surpasses our expectations.  We are now hoping that we can also set Mila and West up with a higher education fund.

Thank you so much for all you have done, and for being our village during this difficult time.

Our deepest love and gratitude,

Rich, Celeste, Mike, Mila and West

As some of you know, on February 17th, Rich and Celeste's daughter Marissa passed away.  As you can imagine, Rich, Celeste and their family are heartbroken for their loss.  The hardest loss of all by far though is for Marissa’s two children, Mila (5) and West (2).

Marissa was a very dedicated and loving mother.  Her life was devoted to raising her two children.  Because of this, Mila and West have an immediate need for care.  Mila and West’s dad, Mike works full-time to support his family.

Nothing can bring Marissa back, but any help that you can give to bring some sense of normalcy back to Mila and West would be appreciated by Rich and Celeste.

Many of you know and understand that sometimes it takes a village to help find your way out of the darkness – Rich, Celeste, Mila and West need that village right now.

The need is immediate, so Rich and Celeste will be grateful for any help that you can give.

West and Mila’s dad, Mike works full-time for 1-800-GOT-JUNK?.    Mila is in T-Kindergarten for part of the day, but West is too young to go to school yet.  West will be able to go to Kindergarten in 2.5 years.

200,000.00 would pay for care for both children for five years.  As some of you know, schools get out at 2:30PM so even when both kids are in school, they will still need care after school.

To help support Rich and Celeste with this undertaking, Golden State Lumber has pledged to match dollar for dollar the money that is raised through this GoFundMe appeal up to $100,000.00 to help them reach their goal of 200,000.00.

Rich and Celeste will manage all the donated funds for Mila and West.

As all of you know, Rich and Celeste are a huge part of the Golden State Lumber Family and we want to support them through this difficult time.  Between Al (Marissa’s Grandfather) and Rich, the Bonfiglio’s have devoted over 75 years to the Golden State Lumber family.

Please help them to get through the most challenging time of their lives.
