Dear friends and family,

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for the support you've shown Miko and me during this incredibly difficult time. As many of you may know, Miko suffered a severe injury after being struck by a jet ski. He experienced a traumatic injury to his head that required urgent care, along with a neck injury that has led to spinal complications. Despite the gravity of the situation, we are so thankful that he is alive and fighting to recover.

Miko is not just an extraordinary person; he is also a dedicated self-employed hairstylist who pours his heart into his work and his community. He’s always been there for others, lending a helping hand to friends, strangers, and children alike, even when he has little to give. It breaks my heart to see him facing this challenge, especially knowing he will need to be on bed rest for at least three months. We all want him to heal completely and return to his vibrant self.

I will do my best to support him during this time, but I can’t do it alone. Miko's absence from work means he will be without his usual income, and we have important responsibilities like his salon suite, rent, and bills that still need our attention. I completely understand that everyone has their own struggles to navigate, but we are reaching out in this moment of need for any assistance you can provide.
