Hi, my name is Patrycja, I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of Mikolaj Sabuda’s parents. As some of you may know, Mikolaj is a junior at Elk Grove High School. He is by far the sweetest boy, he is so so caring and he always cared about how others were doing and never failed to put a smile on anyones face. One of Mikolaj’s favorite things is fishing, he has a passion for it. His parents raised him well, his parents are sweet, caring, friendly, respectful, and just all around amazing people, his 7 year old sister too. This family never deserved any of this to happen.

On 8/23/2023, around 11pm he got into a car accident. As of now, he is in the hospital in critical condition with his parents right by his side. On behalf of his parents, donations would be greatly appreciated to help support them in this difficult time. Thank you in advance and please keep him in your prayers as the days go on. He is strong and I believe he will make it through this.

Tests taken showed little to no brain activity. More tests will be ran tomorrow morning 8/26, and if tests don’t come out good, Mikolaj will be taken off life support. His family is heavily struggling with this news, and are currently looking for funeral arrangements. This news will be difficult for anyone to hear. Thank you all for the support you all have given his family in the past day, it is appreciated more than you know. From now on the family will be needing more donations for funeral arrangements. Our sweet boy was pronounced dead at 9:14am. No brain activity was shown when tests were taken. Thank you for all the support shown. Donations are now going to be for funeral plans. Thank you to the random strangers for the donations as well, it is so appreciated. The family extends their gratitude for your prayers, generosity and continued support. Funeral arrangements will be posted once available.

Friday Sept. 1st will be the wake. The family is inviting family and friends to say goodbye at Skaja Funeral Home from 4-8pm (7812 N Milwaukee Ave

Niles, IL 60714) and on Saturday Sept. 2nd everyone can meet at the Saint Zachary Church in Des Plaines for his mass at 10:45am to then go to the All Saints Catholic Cemetery (700 N River Rd

Des Plaines, IL 60016). Thank you all for all the support shown so far, it is so appreciated.
