Miko Carr Surgery and Hospital Bills

On the 12th of April 2025, Miko was involved in a terrible car accident, which resulted in multiple injuries, including a major head trauma and 3 fractured vertebrae.

He had his decompression surgery on the 30th of April, as it could no longer wait to be done. He was in theatre for 10 hours and needed a blood transfusion due to blood loss. He is currently in the High Dependency Unit, recovering.

Unfortunately, Miko is not on a medical aid scheme as he only just started working at his new job.

Since being admitted, the family has exhausted the US$6.5k deposit and are looking for support to fund his surgery which amounts to US$15,500 and to cover his hospital fees which has amounted to US$8,000 to date and are increasing on a daily basis.

Miko and his family now face a long road to recovery, physically, mentally and emotionally. For the coming weeks, his family and friends will be by his side in the hospital, praying for a steady recovery. We are reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly challenging time.
