Mikhailo's Funerals and Familly Support

When life seems sweeter and smiles seductively at you...that's also when it sticks the most painful knife in your back.
Just three weeks ago I was so happy that my cousin and her family finally arrived in Canada from Ukraine. Three weeks spent with so much enthusiasm for a safer life and with so many great plans for them, which were ruined in just a moment with the sudden death of Mikhailo, Elena’s husband and the father of their two daughters Yana and Maryna.
They fled the war in Ukraine where they had their home and parents to give their two daughters a more secure future, but life is sometimes unfair to us and hits us just when life is dearest to us.
Our family's pain knows no bounds in these dark days. Mikhailo was only 37 years old, he was a great man, calm, warm, patient beyond measure and wise. In just the three weeks we lived together I understood that God blessed my home with their family and how lucky we are to have them here with us. Lord what desolation and sadness you have left behind you Mikhailo!
Mikhailo left behind two daughters aged 11 and 16 as well as his wife devastated by this sudden loss following a serious and spontaneous health problem. They have only been in Canada for three weeks, fleeing the ravages of war to face the ravages of death. They did not settle yet and have a lot of needs that all newcomers have besides all the funerals and life expenses coming.
I promised him to help his family and I am doing all I can. Please help me support them in these difficult moments. The funerals will happen in Montreal and it will be updated here with the date and place if you’d like to participate and support the family.
Peace, Health, Wisdom and Patience...that was Misha's favourite toast. "Why talk much and in vain". So full of life, so eager to discover new opportunities...
Rest in peace, enlightened soul! May you watch over us from above among the angels, your place is there among them.
Please forgive us! Thank you for being in our lives and you will always remain in our hurting hearts.
Thank you all for you donations! May God Bless You!
