On November 22nd, 2017, my father had to undergo the traumatic experience of a quadruple bypass heart surgery. We did not know the extent of his condition until we took him to a specialist who immediately sent him to the hospital. It wasn’t until the cardiac specialist took one look at my dad and called him a “ticking time bomb”. They kept him in the hospital for observation and later proceeded to operate. Due to the intensity and severity of the surgery, his everyday activities are now put on hold until his recovery is at 100%. We are now surviving on barely one income which makes times like this extremely hard for our family. It won’t be until 4-6 months that my dad is fully back on his feet and going to work. My family and I are asking for any and every help we can get during this struggle.
