Help with Mikey's kidney surgery

Donation protected
"I had my first kidney stone when I was 11."

Mikey has dealt with a slew of health issues over the years -- a major issue being chronic kidney stones. It has been a debilitating in many ways. He and his family have been searching for an answer for about a decade. In many ways it has been a nightmare, finding the proper doctor and finding a diagnosis for the problem. Doctors believe Mikey has an abnormal ureter and that is likely what is causing him to have so many kidney stones, and so much kidney pain.

Mikey has spent 7 years seeking all the approvals needed to have an unusual surgery called a kidney auto-transplant. Finally, after all these years, he is scheduled to have the surgery on Feb. 6th. This is nothing short of a miracle in and of itself.

What is an auto transplant? Essentially it is a kidney transplant where Mikey is both the donor and the recipient. They will remove most of his ureter, which is believed to be the problem area, and hopefully the kidney pain will go along with it.

Please support Mikey and his family with your prayers and a donation to assist with the associated costs related specifically to this surgery and his medical costs generally.
