Mikey's Headstone

It's hard to believe that it will be 5 years in June that we had to say good-bye to this sweet young man.  Mikey was a blessing to all who loved him. I feel incredibly lucky to have been his teacher for 3 years before he left us. In that time, I think he taught me more than I taught him. His love for life was contagious and his sense of humor was like no other. He definitely brought joy to all around him. 

Sadly, at this time, Mikey has yet to receive a headstone at his final resting place. I want to honor his memory and give him a headstone that he deserves. The money will cover the cost of the headstone. It will contain his name, Mikey Wirtz, date of birth and death, as well as a baseball, and one of his famous sayings. Any left over monies will go to a charity in his memory.
