Mikey’s Emergency Vet Bill

On the evening of New Year’s Eve December 31, 2021. My baby of 10 years Mikey because lethargic and started panting. He was stiff and didn’t move for over 15 minutes. We rushed him to the emergency vet. He is anemic and his emergency vet bill is estimated at $6,500 for emergency care, diagnostic test, and blood transfusion to get his red blood cell count up to a normal level. I know to many people he’s just a cat but he’s my cat. My sisters and I hand fed him when we first got him as a kitten and he has been an amazing loving part of our family ever since.
