Hello, I am Mikey Barry. I am a high school marching band,concert and  jazz band student and an avid music lover. All my life I have struggled with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Due to my disability, it is hard for me to engage in traditional team sports and activities.  Now, as a teenager, I have found my true passion in Music. I’ve been nominated to represent Colorado with the Colorado Music Ambassadors and travel to Europe this summer, which is so exciting! When I am outside marching on our high school field or performing with the concert and jazz band, I focus my mind and body and give it everything I’ve got. I hope to inspire other students with disabilities to grab their instruments and play their hearts out. However, I need your help!  
My parents are separated, and my mom tries her best to provide for my sisters and I.  She even works two jobs. I know in her heart she really wants to send me to Europe, but I do not want to stress her.
