Hi Everyone! Its me your friend, family member, or funny stranger Shay! If you know Tony & I personally, you know how much we have wanted to have a baby & give Mikey a sibling. Mikey would be the best big brother, he has always gravitated to any baby he sees and says "awww dad & shay shay look how cuutee, such a cutie little baby". He would love to have a baby brother or sister, he always picks out names for them & ask if the baby can have ninja skills when its born (LOL).
We have been trying for the last 6 years to conceive and unfortunely have exhausted all of the fertility treatments we could do before going though an IVF journey. With us both in our 30's we want to start this process sooner than later to make sure we have time on our hands! We both absolutely have been wanting another child for the last six years and its a struggle with every failed fertility treatment that does not work. The heartbreak is unexplainable & can really wear you down. We have had a consultation for the IVF process and have been told that we are great candidates. As far as the background on why we can't get pregnant, its pretty much a mystery, I was diagnosed with unexplained infertility and possible PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome). We have responded well to all treatments and testing so its unknown as to why none of them successfully developed a baby. The doctor we have seen recently believes that my combining the egg and swimmers (lol) together that the embryo being created prior to entering my body will give us a much better chance.
As some of you already know, IVF is extremely expensive. It will cost $27,000 to do this whole process. Normally I am not a person who will ask for money on anything. I take pride in trying to make sure everything I want or need I can afford. However, this is something we cannot control and need help with. Even if you can't donate now please share our story to all your friends & family to see if they can help. Even if its $0.25, I don't care what the amount is! We appreciate any donations and would be forever grateful!
