Mikey's leg bender fund raiser

Hi everyone. As I'm sure you know, poor Mikey has bent his ol' leg in half. So I've taken the liberty of setting this up as a way for some of us to contribute to helping out without having to wipe his bum ;)

Being under six, the hospital have put him in a spica cast, where he literally has a cast on both legs and these are joined together by a rod which totally immobilises the hip, and Mikey entirely. John and Cat have been forced to buy a very specific type of wheelchair which costs £1,500 so that Mikey can get out the house a bit over the coming six weeks. The NHS region we're in only has one of these chairs and it is needed elsewhere. On top of that, both being self-employed, they're missing out on work during this time as Mikey needs 24/7 care.

If you can spare anything I think it would really mean a lot for them. And if not, then send Mikey a wee video wishing him well as he loves getting those probably more than cash :P

John mentioned the possibility of donating the wheelchair they've bought to the NHS afterwards, so maybe if we raise enough this will help them do that.
