This is my dad Michael Siegler, he is a police officer of Meriden CT. He has a wife(my mom) Heather and two children, myself and my brother Mikey. My dad suffers from a type of cancer called Soft Tissue Sarcoma. The cancer he has is called Malignant Peripheral Nerve Sheath Sarcoma, He was diagnosed with this in 2009. He has many surgerys after the prognosis. In 2010 he had a 13 hour surgery done to remove the tumor that was in his spine, because of this surgery, he lost all function of his leg and decided to amputate it. In late 2012 the sarcoma spread to my dads lungs. In 2013 he had surgery to remove the cancer but 3 months later it had regrown in his lungs. currently, my dad goes through chemo and takes many Meds. I am making this go fund me acount to help my family and to hopefully be able to buy my dad a tempropedic matress. Due to financial situation we are currently in, i will do anything to take some weight off my parents shoulders. Any donation will help.
